Giveaway
Search For Practical Mommy Facebook Contest (a post-birthday blog blowout part 1)
When November kicked in,
I was so excited because it’s my
birthday month! I’ve conceptualized what I want to do to celebrate it with my
lovely readers. But Yolanda/Haiyan came early
this month, which made me drop some of my Birthday Blog Blowout plans. Sponsors had already sent me their prizes,
but I couldn’t find time to put it all
together. I hope you could forgive me
for prioritizing other things loves.
Anyway, FINALLY here it is! This is the first part of my (post) Birthday Blog Blowout (two more to go before the year ends!) It’s called, “The Search For The Practical Mommy Facebook Photo Contest”

My boy is eight and is crazy for me (I think) but there was one time when my brother's son who is 12 saw him hugging and kissing me and was defensive about it, like he "accidentally" just hugged me daw. (then he whispered to me that he is embarrassed that his cousin saw him hugging and kissing me because boys don't do that daw). His cousin heard him and he said , "it is ok, Adrian. I still sit on my dad's lap and hug and kiss him even if I am already twelve." Hayy, sis, I am afraid of the day he will not like to hug me anymore. He actually bought a book for me when we went to Logos Hope at Poro Point- "Let Me Hold You A Little Longer" ang title ng book and it is about a mom with a son and their moments together from birth to when he left for college.
ReplyDeleteTHanks @Ann Cagalingan! Have you shared your photo on my FB page? Share na! :)

ReplyDeleteThanks Andrea! Saw your entry! Thanks for joining! ;)
ReplyDeleteOh my Marie! I think I am going to cry when that happens to me. Also that book "Let Me Hold You A Little Longer" title pa lang moves me to tears na. I know I can be a bit OA, but while I STILL CAN HOLD him nga, I will. While I still can make him obey mommy, kiss and hug mommy, I will take advantage of it. I will make sure I live in the now and spend quality happy times with them than later on regret. Thanks Marie for sharing this. We're just afraid for that day to come no? :)
