We've got the Halloween fever loves!  So this post is dedicated to past Halloween Costumes I and my kids wore in the previous Halloween parties we attended.  This may also be your guide to some Halloween Costume Ideas for your kids on their future Halloween Trick or Treat events!

While viewing these photos, I became nostalgic and noticed how small they were before and that time flies by so fast.  Another realization struck me that as parents, we should try to spend as much time as we can with our kids because with a blink of an eye, they get older and grow taller.  And just by viewing these photos of my children, it made me miss them as smaller kids.

2013 - Wes as Buzz Lightyear at 3 years old.
The last photo which showed Wes in Buzz Lightyear costume was also the year that my dear Dandre, at 10 years old, started to become shy wearing a costume or even participating in our office Halloween event activities.  But he was still present anyway.

Now at 11 years old, Dandre totally doesn't want to wear any costume, but if required, he will just come in as a basketball player (which is not really a costume).  In our most recent Halloween party attendance, he wasn't in costume, but he joined the games, just so he could score some prizes for his little brother.

This is what I'm saying, at a blink of an eye, our kids grow up faster than we expect them to.  So savor each moment with them while they still cling on to you for anything, when they still depend on you when they couldn't solve a math problem, when they still want to come with you wherever you go.  I still have two more years until my first-born becomes a teenager, so it's a rara parenting/bonding with him.  Because time will come when he'd want to be more independent and would want to come with me.

With Wes, I still have more years to enjoy him as a little child.  But I'll make sure that I treasure every moment with him like how I was or still am to my big boy Dandre.

Wow, this throwback Halloween Costume post is more than just a costume feature.  It's a reality that had just folded right before my very eyes.  Waah!  I'm emotional right now, so many fireworks of feelings flying here and there!  I want to just go home from work and hug both of them!

Anyway, how was your Halloween festivities coming along?  We do still have a week to celebrate it!  Why not check the remaining Halloween Trick or Treat events this week on my blog post loves!  Happy Trick or Treating!  Happy Halloween! :)
