At Pampers Baby Dry-Pants and Gymboree’s Mommy Meet-Up Event

Last weekend, my baby Damien and I witnessed the launch of the NEW Pampers Baby Dry-Pants in partnership with Gymboree's 40th Anniversary, with Pampers brand ambassadors Andi and Olivia Manzano-Reyes.

The event area was jam packed with moms, dads who were eager to listen to the discussions on parenting, child's development stages, and playtime of active babies. There were a lot of excited children in tow who played in the Gymboree area and did some arts and crafts too. Pampers demonstration and food stations were available in different corners which made the whole activity area of Glorietta 5 Atrium highly energized.

The event started with the sharing of personal experiences of Andi as a new mom to Olivia and how they both love bonding through play. She shared that because Olivia is now more active than ever, changing nappies could be challenging. That's why Andi moved up to using the new Pampers Baby Dry-Pants to keep the playtime going. According to registered Family Psychologist and Child & Family Specialist, Michelle Alignay, "Playtime is vital to baby’s development that’s why we don’t want to interrupt baby during playtime even if there’s a need to change his/her diaper."

A Mommy Meet-Up Panel discussion followed with celebrity moms and experts Andi Manzano, Say Alonzo, Michelle Alignay, and Teresa Dumadag. They shared their experiences and some mommy hacks, their expert advice or tips, on motherhood, career, and self-care. I personally sometimes struggle with juggling all those three but I agree with what they said that every mom should set aside some me-time and not feel guilty about it.

It was an insightful discussion on parenting which led some moms, including myself, to ask questions about raising children. I am a mom of three but I am still far from being an expert because every childhood stage that my eldest will enter is also new to me. Parenting is always a new learning experience and a life-long journey as well. The important thing is that we support our children and love them unconditionally. My personal question on raising my teenager was dealt with, thanks to the panel for sharing their expert advice.

I wanted to experience myself what sets The New Pampers Baby-Dry Pants apart from other diaper brands. I went to the demo booth at the back to see it for myself.

STRETCHY, it features and all-round stretchy waistband and flexible leg cuffs to make sure fit ang diaper kay baby that lets her play and move around.
EASY TO PUT ON, just put one leg at a time and pull-up. Super easy palit unlike taped diapers where you have to ensure baby is lying down para magpantay ang tapes.
EASY TO TEAR OFF, just tear off at the sides and dispose.

Damien is only two months old but as I always say, time passes by so quickly. Soon I'll be seeing him achieve different milestones such as rolling, crawling, walking, and running!
