I was talking to Macky last Saturday morning about how television shows and movies sometimes influence the way our children think, talk and act.  We identified channels, shows, and movies which have positive impact on our kids.  Of course Disney came top of the list (the only one actually)!  Disney Channel and Disney Junior play big parts in the growing years of our tween Dandre and now of our little one, Wes.  

Wes' two most watched channels on television are Disney Channel (Mickey Mouse is his favorite!) and Disney Junior.  Let me add too that even if he's a boy, his favorite Disney movie is Frozen!  I think he watched it a hundred times and had memorized the lines of Anna, Elsa and Olaf, plus he can sing all the Frozen songs too!  For me, the singing voice of your child speaks more than just the song.  It sends you signals of positive learning and inner joy too.  As a parent, I highly vouch that the shows on Disney channels and Disney movies are age-appropriate, educational, entertaining, and they certainly teach good morals and values!  With that said, we know how exciting it would be for them to see the Disney characters LIVE once again this year.   We thought of surprising them once with show tickets just what we did last year.
