Every MOM was or still is a somebody other than her mommy role. I believe that even if we have added the responsibilities of being a mother, we should not let ourselves go.  As long as we put our families our top priority, then there is nothing wrong about doing what our heart dictates us to do.  This could be anything from career, sidelines, business, sport, hobby or exercise to even learning new skills or going back to school.

I would like to share that I am a living proof that even if I am a busy with my motherhood, wifey and corporate career, I still assume the role of a "singing diva" from time to time.  Singing is one of my many passions that I could not just let go out of my system.  Fortunately, hubby is also a musician and is in the same band as I am.  We actually started as really good friends and as band mates, and the rest is history.
