Circles Event Cafe Lunch Buffet at Makati Shangri-La Hotel
Hello loves, as mentioned before, I'm going to talk about our post-Valentine's lunch buffet date at Circles Event Cafe at Makati Shangri-La Hotel.
We made the reservation a week before the lunch date, just to be sure we have a table. It's important to come on time because they only have 15 minutes grace period to hold your reservation, trust that the place gets full.
Circles Event Cafe is far from having an intimidating ambiance. In fact, it has a very friendly and casual dining environment. Their dining area is very spacious which can sit a family, a large group or a couple comfortably.
Just like its counterpart in EDSA Shangri-La, HEAT Restaurant, Circles has fascinating open-theater kitchens where food are cooked and served hot and fresh.
Their open kitchens range from Asian and Western cuisines, to seafood, cold appetizers, desserts and more. Choose from a generous range of delectable cuisine from starters, main course, desserts and beverages.

Ambiance: Classy yet practical. Casual and not intimidating at all. Smoking is not allowed which makes it a perfect place for business meet-ups or family celebration. Good venue for a not-so-cheesy-dates like ours.
Service: Their staff is competent. Their service is fast. Chefs cook your food (like grilling and pasta making) the way you want it. Everyone greets you with a warm smile thus making your dining experience special.
Cleanliness: Tables are set and clean before you are led to your table by their efficient receptionists. Waiters do the rounds to see if there are plates ready to be bus out. No slippery wet floors because janitors are also on stand by should there's a need to clean up.
Price: Since I used GCs, we didn't pay for anything. But I was still issued a receipt and our bill was P2,700++. For a buffet in an internationally known five-star hotel, that price is quite reasonable already. Roughly around Php 1,400.00 per person. Not bad at all.
