Last April 20, the fambam had one of the most unforgettable Easter Egg Hunting events in The Bellevue Manila dubbed as Easter in Winter Wonderland.  I was very fortunate to have been invited to this special event by the hotel's Marketing and Communications Director Ryan Chan through the kindness of my dear friend Jane Go of the popular and quirky blog Sugar Go Spice (go read her posts na!).

I'm sure not one kid in the metro doesn't know the movie "FROZEN".  My boys love that movie and they memorize all the songs in its soundtrack!  That's why they got so thrilled upon entrance to see The Bellevue Manila's 20/20 Function Room all dressed up to the "Frozen" theme!   Couple with the winter wonderland theme was a movie showing and playing of the Frozen soundtrack in loop, while waiting for the program proper to start.

We actually came a little past 12:00 noon for the registration which started at 11:00 am.  I personally appreciated how orderly the registration was and how efficient the people in-charge were.  While waiting for the program to start, the snack buffet, which could pass for a lunch buffet, was opened to their guests.  Kids of all ages (that includes me and Macky) would definitely love what was served: Spaghetti, Hotdog on stick, Barbeque, Chicken, Cheese Sticks and Juice or Iced Tea.

Here's the fascinating part of the buffet which my kids loved: Frozen themed desserts! :)

Here's the whole fambam while having our snacks shortly right before the Easter Egg hunting activities started.  The boys were in their Sunday's best plaid button down shirts, while I, the Queen, was in my red dress. :)  We came prepared, there should have been a Best Dressed Family award, we could have been a contender!  Haha! :)

To keep the kids occupied, the organizer of the event made sure there were a lot of activities to be busy with while waiting for the main activity to start.
Coloring Activitiy by Faber Castell
Wes had the coloring table all to himself while waiting for his batchmates (of children) to start their Easter Egg Hunting activity.
Even Kuya Dandre participated in the Easter Egg painting activity.

The ever curious toddler does what his kuya likes doing.  He had fun painting four eggs actually!

Every family's favorite event keepsake: the photo booth!
Glitter Tattoo and Face Painting were also available for the kids to try.
"Frozen" movie was shown to keep the kids entertained.
For "Frozen" fanatics and merchandise collectors, the selling area was a hit among them!

Samplers were given by event sponsors.
Finally, the moment every beaming and excited kid was waiting for, the Egg Hunting activity had begun!  I'm very happy about how the Easter Egg Hunt was organized.  They had three batches for children of different ages.  This was to make sure that the children compete for the eggs with the same age level as they are.

Ten minutes were allotted for each age group.  First batch was for 9 to 12 years old children, of which my Kuya Dandre belong.  Second batch was for kids aged 5 to 8 years old.  Lastly, my toddler's age group of 4 years old and below.
Kuya was shown here excitedly waiting for the gates to open.  He got his competitive spirit with him, all set to get as much eggs as he can!

While waiting for the first two batches to finish, I had to distract Wes by taking a photo with him.  As the naturally curious him, he was asking what's happening inside and actually wanted to scramble with the older kids to search for eggs.

Younger kids were accompanied by one of their parents inside.  So technically, for the youngest batch, the parents were those competing for the most plenty eggs they could get!  Hahaha!  Daddy Macky is guilty of this!  Oh, this was how it looked like inside!  It's magical! :)
After the egg hunting, the eggs were collected at the claiming booth.  In exchange for those, the corresponding toy or prize written on the egg was given to the child.  Thanks to the very generous toy/prize sponsor, no children came home empty-handed!

Here were what Kuya Dandre got as prizes for the eggs he hunted!  He was really happy about the Jansport water bottle by the way! :)

After all the participating children got their prizes, they were gathered in front for more games which my sons happily participated.  This won them more prizes of course!  Some of the games I remember them participating were: Group Bring Me Game, Sticker Under The Chairs, Q&A and a lot more!  The event was made even more special when the Magic Show started.  All my three boys were attentive and they enjoyed the magic tricks and the comedic punch lines of the magician!

Announcement of raffle draw winners came after the magic show.  You know when they say, save the best for last?  One of the surprise highlights (the best part for most kids in attendance) of the event was the Meet and Greet of "Frozen" characters: Queen Elsa, Princess Anna and Kristoff.  The children were racing on stage to take a photo with them.  Everyone IS a big fan of Frozen that's why!  Since I felt it was near impossible for us to take photo with them, we went down for a while and guess what?  We caught up with them at the lobby and had a SOLO Photo Op with the cast! :)

I was so happy that photo-op made my children really ecstatic!  More than the prizes, for me, the experience was something that will last a long time.  It was indeed a special moment for them!   But what made them giddy too were the contents of the loot bag we brought home!  Look at all those sweets!  Even my eyes dilated out of glee!

Thank you so much once again to The Bellevue Manila for this wonderful experience.  Congratulations on the success of your Easter in Winter Wonderland event too.  The kids had so much fun and truly, the experience will be one of the most awesome memories in their childhood life! :)
