Our summer this year is full-packed with swimming activities, sports activities, arts and crafts at home and a few hotel staycations.  I'm happy that my children are busy with those activities and we tell them that we are blessed we get to experience them.  Going to resorts or staying in hotels are some of the activities we call totally fun as a family.  Last month, we were invited by my very sweet and thoughtful friend and Queen of the South, JANE GO of Sugar Go Spice to a 3D/2N hotel staycation at the only 5-star hotel in the South, The Bellevue Manila.

In her words, "Can't wait to show you my part of town, Louise!"  I knew at instant we'll be very good friends!  I always tell her how thoughtful, sweet and kind she is that's why her readers truly adore her!  She's so real and very down-to-earth too!  Macky and I both looooove her! :)

First, we had a lunch buffet at Cafe d' Asie Restaurant.  Because we're checked in for the Holy Week,  I was glad to know their menu was filled with fish, fruits and vegetables.  Macky and I like going to buffets and we could say Cafe d' Asie has a wide array of buffet menu leaving their diners truly satisfied and happy.

Here were some photos of the buffet (which I will write extensively about in another post):
Seafood Risotto, Bok Choy in Garlic Oyster Sauce and Al Tonno Pasta
Variety of tarts, cake squares and other pastries.

Cafe 'd Asie's food are all made with the freshest ingredients every time by the hotel's multi-awarded chefs!  The whole family had a pleasurable dining experience at the restaurant.

THE BELLEVUE MANILA HOTEL EXPERIENCE
After lunch, we had a personalized and easy registration or check in at The Bellevue Signature Club.
Yes yes yes, we're booked at one of the 45 Signature rooms located at the 18th, 19th and 20th floors which made it an awesome hotel staycation experience for the family!  These rooms are bigger than the standard rooms in other hotels.
Let me show you how grandacious our room was:
A personalized letter greeted me which detailed the Bellevue Signature Club facilities and services we were given free access to.
The little one immediately jumped on the bed and what joy it brought our hearts to see him happy!  Two (2) king-sized beds with brown leather headboards, heavenly soft pillows and crisp, white 400-thread count sheets.
We could stay all day in the room with these: Open-bar,
Wall-mounted LCD television.
An office desk perfect for blogging activities or any office work you wish to complete.
A comfortable reading nook for bedtime stories.  (Found out that this high back winged chair in purple is custom-made!)
Spacious and immaculate bathroom complimented with the luxurious bath and beauty products from Italian prestige brand Acca Kappa.  My sons looooooved the bath tub!
Rainfall shower in this glass-door bath cube is heaven! :)
When we stay in hotels, I appreciate it very much when a flat iron with its board is available for use!  No more crinkled clothes, especially those for use in venues with required dress code.
The safety deposit box is available to give you peace when leaving your room full of valuables.
By the way, we were booked at Bellevue Manila's latest expansion - The Bellevue Tower Wing.  It boasts of a rich Asian-inspired design mixed with post-modern interiors very evident in the tower's lobby.
After resting a little in the room on our first day, gifts came in!  First was from Madil Philippines, a US brand of flip flops which comes with four matching bands and an extra charm that is removable and interchangeable!  My sweet friend Jane saved one for me (was supposed to have the hotel staycation with the group of Kain, Tulog Gang  the week before, but the whole family was down with flu.)  They are on Facebook and Instagram, just look for @mymadilph.
Another gift came from Sampleroom!  It was the first time I've seen a collagen drink - Sappe Beauti Drink (with 1,000 mg of Collagen.)  Mga muthers, we could benefit a lot pala from this drink because it could help maintain skin moisture, tighten hair follicle and reduce wrinkles! :)

Also got two (2) lippies and countouring blush-on from Colour Collection!

The following day we opted to have our Continental Breakfast at the The Signature Club located at the 21st floor of The Bellevue Manila.  I always look forward to loads of bacon for breakfast in hotels, that it has become an important item on my hotel-stay-checklist.  Guess what?  Strips of crispy baked bacon there were.  I was in bacon heaven when I heard the crunchy sound it was making inside my mouth.  I just looooove bacon!  Who doesn't?
To beat the heat, we decided to hit the swimming pool located at the third floor of the New Tower.  I personally love swimming that whenever I travel to any destination, I always pack a swimsuit (para ready lagi!)  They have a lap pool and a kiddie pool.  Drinks and some meals are available at their snack bar.
Sipping on our cold mango juices while watching the kids enjoy the water.
We LOOOOOVE swimming! :)
We swam for two straight days loves for as long as we could!  Just make sure you generously apply sunblock lotion all over the body, most especially on your face!

Hay naku, alam niyo ba, we were really spoiled during our staycation there!  On our second day, we were asked to try Phoenix Court's Eat-All-You-Can Dimsum!
We had a half-serving of the roasted duck which was prepared in two-ways!  Jane and her family already devoured on the first half of the duck before us (we were late because we had too much fun swimming!)
Phoenix Court is Bellevue Manila's newest Chinese restaurant where one can enjoy a wide ala carte selections of Chinese dishes to satisfy his oriental taste buds!  It also has a very spacious dining area.  The  ambiance looks like you're going to be bankrupt after eating, but NO!  Did you know that their Eat-All-You-Can-Dimsum is only Php 650++ for adults and 325++ for children 6 to 12 yo.  Children 5 yo and below eats for FREE!  For me that's really practical!  I will be writing a separate post on that too! :)
We rested in the room after pigging out at Phoenix Court (that's the literal Kain-Tulog) then woke up for dinner at Cafe 'd Asie.  Finally I had two slices of sizzling and premium US Roasted Ribeye!  It's to die for!
Our Kuya Dandre got generous servings of the steak as well while the little one couldn't get enough of its gravy with rice! :)
Now, one of the highlights of our staycation, as a couple, was the Spa date at Mandarine Spa, located at the third floor of the New Wing.  I have told you in my past posts that we love having massages together as our couple bonding.  We were both relieved from stress and free from the tension our bodies got after a tiring week at work with these relaxing spa activities we had: Sauna, Jacuzzi and one (1) hour massage at Mandarine Spa.
We ended our second night well-rested and stress-free, perfect for the following day's Easter Sunday Egg Hunting Activities for the uber excited kids.

The Bellevue Hotel Manila organized an Easter event dubbed as the Easter In Winter Wonderland which I wrote about already over HERE.  The kids had so much fun and I wouldn't trade that moment to anything because seeing them happy is definitely priceless!
After our Easter Egg Hunting event attendance, reality had struck me - we're already checking out!

YAY OR NAY?
It definitely is a YAY!  I loved our hotel staycation in The Bellevue Manila hotel.  It's currently holding the top  position on our hotel staycation list.  Our family were well-accommodated and pampered.  The receptionists, food servers and other staff, most especially the people we were able to converse with at the Signature Club every morning, were very friendly, efficient, kind and courteous.  Our room was comfortable, I never knew I could sleep so long and so soundly - truly an escape from my daily working-mom life.  Macky had an excellent SPA experience, he enjoyed the Jacuzzi a lot for he was in it SOLO.  Food was excellent in all the restaurants we dined in.  Their facilities are complete.  The kids have another wonderful story to tell and a beautiful family bonding memory to keep on coming back when they are grown ups.

THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN to my very sweet friend JANE GO for extending the invitation to our family and for making a way for our stay to be rescheduled.  Thank you to Maui Arceo for making sure all our needs were met during our stay.  Thank you also to Mr. Ryan Chan, for letting our family experience South's "beautiful view" - The Bellevue Manila Hotel.
If you also want to have a hotel staycation like no other, know more about The Bellevue Manila Hotel by visiting their website, liking them on Facebook or following them on Twitter and Instagram.  The Bellevue Manila Hotel is located at North Bridgeway, Filinvest City, Alabang, Muntinlupa.

  2. Ibang klase talaga ang hospitality ng Bellevue group! I stayed here too last December and was literally blown away with their customer service! I also went to their resort and Bohol - and it was the same! Ito nalang.. I lost my house keys (Manila) in the room but I was going home na that day. So I asked them to look for it nalang. AND THEY FOUND AND SENT IT TO Bellevue Manila! Galing diba? I am so in love with their customer service talaga!! :)

I feel nga that their hospitality is better than those big hotel chain in Manila eh.. I would really love to go back just to experience that.

The food is also wonderful! Selection is Cafe D'Asie is good enough and quality siya!! :) Phoenix Court is WOW.
