Because I'm 39 weeks on the way, as much as we wanted to go out of town to celebrate Father's Day, we can't.  In these times, a weekend hotel staycation works best for us.  We don't have to leave the city (so we save on gas or toll fees) plus we also still enjoy a well-deserved relaxing family time.  For the Father's Day celebration, we chose to stay at B Hotel Quezon City.
Quezon City is one of the places I frequent to even as a young child.  My love for the city never ceases.  It's amazing how it keeps on developing and evolving through the years.  So a staycation in one of the newer boutique hotels (B Hotel QC just opened in 2015) was something that we looked forward to.

B Hotel is located along the not-so-busy side of Sct. Rallos Street.  The hotel has a basement parking for its guests, and it's free of charge.  From outside it looks like any regular hotel, but once you're in, you know that you're in for a unique experience, aesthetically pleasing with its modern, artistic, and industrial design.  My rakista hubby was impressed right away.  And that's a big deal because for him, every hotel (ambiance, design, and over-all look) is just the same.  But this... he liked it very much!  It was a perfect venue for our Father's Day weekend celebration indeed.

Checking-in was quick, but unlike other hotels we stayed in, I was already asked for a full payment for our room with an option to waive our refundable security deposit.  But by waiving, the hotel had to pull-out the mini-snack-bar from our room.  Right after signing the form, we were given two key cards to our 8/F room and our free WiFi access credentials
We booked a Superior Room which fits a maximum of two (2) adults and two (2) children (12 years old and below).  The room comes with a free buffet breakfast for two.  Children aged five (5) and below eat for free while those aged 6 to 12 are discounted at 50% off.

Each of the rooms in the hotel has: Air conditioning, Satellite/ cable LED TV, Free LAN and Wi-Fi access, In-room safe, NDD / IDD (charges apply), Mini-bar, Shower, Private toilet and bath

OUR ROOM:
Stayed here most of the time.  Beauty of being pregnant!
King-sized bed with soft sheets and fluffy pillows too!  Need extra pillows and blankets?

Request for FREE!
Chic, modern and industrial feels.  I like it because it looks neat, organized and clean.
Coffee and Tea making facility in the room with two (2) complimentary bottles of water.
The working corner of the room.  It looks simple and practical but purposeful to me.
I am convinced that this little one liked this corner a lot too!  He spent more than an hour playing with his toys in this corner of the room.
This is the room's mini-bar with the Coffee/Tea making facility.  The small refrigerator is very useful for families who bring their own snacks or kids' medications or for keeping expressed milk of breastfeeding mom-guests.
Yes, below is the see-through toilet and bath! Great for honeymooners or if you're alone with spouse.  But if kids are with you, you don't have to worry because a roll-up curtain is available for more privacy.  The toilet and bath has two bath towels (could request extra without any fee), foot rug, a roll of toilet paper, soap, and shampoo too.  It has both hot and cold shower by the way.  Winner!
The sink is found outside the restroom.  It's also where you'll find other toiletries such as green tea soaps, shampoo, dental kit, cotton buds, slippers, and hand towel.  Inside that drawer found at the middle-bottom is where you'll find the hair dryer.

Here are some family shots from in and out of the room.  My kids and I love being in photos while my husband (I guess almost all hubbies are) is usually camera-shy.  We just can't get enough of the neat corners of the room, the comfortable bed, the furniture, and the other well-designed interiors of the hotel.

These boys surely know how to 'werk' it!
My dear Wes (5yo) and Dandre (12yo) slept with us on this bed.  An extra mattress may be requested for an additional fee by the way.
Here's my kinda #OOTD arte shot. Wearing a regular H&M white shirt, maternity pants from SM Woman Maternal and flats from Yosi Samra.
My camera-shy husband, our main man. the person responsible for our staycation weekend celebration, lounging by the alfresco resto-bar fronting the pool.
AMENITIES:
For health and exercise buffs, there's a gym you could go to at the 5/F of the hotel.  It's not that big but it has a bike and treadmill machines for your cardio exercises and set of weights for toning or building your muscles.  Perfect for those who want to shed off their calorie intake from the heavy and delicious hotel breakfast.
SWIMMING POOL!!!!  I think I've already mentioned before that whenever we staycation in a hotel, we make sure there's a swimming pool so that the kids (and kids-at-heart) could have a recreational activity and take advantage of their well-deserved break.  Immediately after checking in and some picture-taking, the kids and their dad headed straight to the swimming pool found at the third floor of the hotel.
Towels are provided to guests for free.  Make sure you shower before you take a dip.  We brought floaters for the little one, but even with floaters always supervise your kids.
I think this little one would want to be a professional swimmer someday. :)
Or a synchronized dancer maybe?!  Sige pa anak, i-feels natin ang swimming pool!  Relax na relax!
Kuya Dandre doing a handstand.  Seriously having so much fun these two in the pool!  Mana sa Mommy, unfortunately I can't swim yet.
This is the pool view from the alfresco bar.  I just can't get enough of the peace water brings me. :)
This is the alfresco resto-bar where you could order drinks and snacks while enjoying time by the pool.
Other amenities and facilities include a Jing Monis Salon at the third floor, Conference/Meeting Rooms, Mezzanine Bar, and Pastry Corner in case you crave for cakes, pastries (try their famous ensaymada!) or cookies to pair with coffee or healthy drinks.

This is B Hotel's Pastry Corner found on the ground floor where you can snack when you go hungry in between meals.
BREAKFAST AT B HOTEL
Apart from the swimming pool as one of my hotel-must-haves, hubby and I are very meticulous about breakfast.  Our accommodation came with two (2) complimentary buffet breakfast.  We just paid extra for our 12yo son at 50% of the breakfast rate while the little one ate for free.

Breakfast venue is at the Ground Floor Lobby Cafe.  A well-balanced buffet spread was served to all hungry guests.
Fambam in just-woke-up outfits having a lovely breakfast at B Hotel.  That's how at-home we felt!
Water and Juice Bar.  Coffee or Hot Chocolate are also available! :)
Salad Station
Fruits Selection
Egg Station: Sunny Side Up, Omelette, and Scrambled Eggs are available
Viands such as Tapa, Danggit (my fave!), Tocino were available.
Plain or Garlic Fried Rice were also served.
Pasta and Butter Pudding were also served.
Bread Station with toaster is available! :)  There are wheat or white bread and soft rolls.  Jams selection is also served.
Chocolate and Corn Flakes with Fresh Milk Corner
Here's what's on my plate.
I felt like you almost frowned when you didn't see BACON (my beloved!) on the menu.
It really wasn't available on the spread, but you could request to have it cooked for you the way you want it.  We wanted it big and CRISPY, and that's what we got.  Just pay Php80.00 per order, that's around five (5) strips of thick slices of tasty bacon.
OTHER ACTIVITIES:
B Hotel QC is right smack in the middle of the busy city where restaurants, entertainment hubs and many other establishments abound and are just a tumbling away!  If you choose to have dinner outside there are so many to choose from, even along Scout Rallos, grabe so dami!  ,When we dined out we went to RUB Ribs and BBQ located at the other side of Sct. Rallos and the following day after our late check out, we had lunch at Project Pie.
OUR PLEASANT EXPERIENCE:
Our growing family has developed our love affair for hotel staycations over the recent years .  Staying in B Hotel QC was a unique experience for us especially to the man-of-the-weekend, my husband Macky.  He isn't easily impressed by a hotel's ambiance, food, and service, but B Hotel QC changed that.  We were fascinated by the hotel's modern, chic, minimalist, and industrial look.  Room essentials were complete.  The bed was big enough for a family with two kids, sheets and pillows were soft which ensure guests get a good night's sleep.  I almost didn't want to get up!
Our breakfast was awesome!  Everything we tried was perfectly cooked, none burnt nor raw.  Each main meal in the buffet spread was warm and tasted delectable.  Cleanliness was unquestionable too which pleased me and my meticulous family.

All we have for the staff and the services they rendered are commendations.  People were courteous, respectable, had the initiative to offer assistance whether needed or not, serve its guests politely and sincerely, and were efficient.

You'd be surprise to experience all these great hotel food and services for an affordable and reasonable rate.  We booked an overnight stay at a Superior Room for only Php 4,200 nett (which comes with buffet breakfast for two already).  You may even get it cheaper if you book their rooms during an on-going promo.

B Hotel QC made a satisfied group of customers out of our family which means, we're definitely coming back!
B Hotel QC is located at 14 Scout Rallos Street, Quezon City.
