Kedon Residence in Pansol, Calamba, Laguna

Summer is definitely not yet over! You still have around 2-3 more weekends to make that out of town trip and plan a swimming outing with the whole family!

One of the not very far venues you could go to is Kedon Residence in Pansol, Calamba, Laguna. Kedon Residence is one of the newest and better private pools you could rent for whole day, night or for overnight. It offers two houses which could be integrated should you come in a really big group. The two houses, Kedon Unit A and Kedon Unit B, are both good for 30 occupants each.

We stayed at Kedon Residence Unit A. The complete amenities which come with the rent are perfect for families like us. What I like about the place is it's very spacious, clean and modern-looking. It has a certain minimalist charm that makes you like it more as the hours go by.

Review
- Cleanliness.
I like the fact that it's one of the newer private pools in Pansol that's why its cleanliness is quite already expected. I'm happy it didn't fail me in this aspect. When you have kids, a place that's clean is one of the more important things we look for. When we arrived, every corner was spic-and-span! Each room was clean and bathroom floors were dry. I didn't see one roach in the kitchen area. The pool was newly treated and the water was clear.
- Space.
Based on the photos above, Kedon Residences is not selfish with space. It says in their website that each Kedon units can only accommodate 30. But I think with the space it has it can go up to 40.
- Facilities.
Among the private pools we've rented in the past, Kedon Residences is ahead in terms of completeness in its facilities. Videoke machine pa lang, winner na! There is something for each age group to do. The older group, sat together in the corner pool lounge. The mommies were at the dining or kitchen, the boys were either at the other corner pool lounge or the living area to watch basketball on tv. The beds and pillows in the 3 rooms are abundant. Just bring your own blanket, which is understandable, because it's like your personal clothing di ba? For cooking/food, the bbq pit, gas stove, refrigerator and a water dispenser are all available. There are only few things in your mommy checklist that you need to bring.
- Pool.
The pool is really warm, because they claim that it naturally came from the hot springs of Mt. Makiling. Having a toddler made me appreciate it more that they have a kiddie pool. I don't need to worry each time my toddler is in the water. The adult pool size is just right for leisure swimming and lounging, not much for lap swimming.
-Location.
If you are from Metro Manila, you will only spend 2 hours on the road. The location isn't hard to find. Pass by the South Luzon Expressway, then exit to Calamba. It's at Pansol Hotspring Village , Lago Vista, Pansol, Calamba City, Laguna.
- Price.
One word: Reasonable. You can rent one whole unit for as low as P10,000.00 for day use on a non-peak season up to P23,000.00 for a 22-hour stay (overnight rate during peak, off-peak it's P18,000).
