A few weeks ago, I was invited to the #FreeInMySkin Movement launch by Physiogel at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel.

This movement aims to empower women to embrace their lives and achieve their dreams and aspirations.  If there is one thing that I am proud to say, it's that I think, I'm a living testament to that empowerment.  Which is why, I am glad that Physiogel started this movement, I felt instantly connected.
Physiogel comes in Lotion, Cleanser and Cream.  the number-one most prescribed moisturizer by dermatologists
The movement was led by model, TV host and entrepreneur, Patti Grandidge, who was amazingly beautiful by the way.  She seeks to bring together and honor women who overcame their insecurities and became the best version of themselves.

It is a movement to also communicate that for any woman to gain more control of her life, pursue her dreams and passions, and she has to love herself more and overcome her insecurities, starting with her skin.  Unfortunately, most of us Filipinas have dry and sensitive skin which becomes the source of our physical insecurities and therefore it's hard to really say we're free, comfortable, and confident.  Having dry skin sometimes is caused be emotional stress and could cause self-doubt.

This is where Physiogel's Free In My Skin movement comes in to the rescue.
“The Free in My Skin movement is not just about creating a nurturing community of  smart, strong and sensitive women, but is also as a way of honoring these women who didn’t let their dry-skin insecurities prevent them from being the best versions of themselves,” says General Manager of GSK Consumer Healthcare, Mr. Jeoffrey Yulo.
I became part of this movement that night because I truly believe in empowering other women to go live your passions and just embrace your freedom.  If you also believe in the movement too, just think of three smart, strong & sensitive women you know and you are proud of and tag them on your Facebook post:

Part of the launch was Physiogel's sample booth which was manned by a skin expert.  They had a test done on me to measure my skin's level of moisture - AND the result was poor!  Mine read 33.2 which meant it's Low Normal and it immediately needs generous and regular application of moisturizer.  Good thing I received a Physiogel lotion and cream gift and I've been using them ever since.  Now my skin's moisture has improved and if I were to take another test, I think I would already be on the Mid Normal to High level of moisturization. :)
My moisturization skin test showed Low Normal and I need generous and regular moisturization by Physiogel.
