Corsage, Boutonniere, and Bouquet Making at School of Styling
There's no doubt about how much I love flowers. I love to receive them. I love to see them. I love to be around them. I love to smell them. And if no one gives me a bunch, I would buy for myself. So when I was invited to attend the Corsage, Boutonniere and Bouquet Making at School of Styling in Glorietta 5 a few weeks ago, I gladly and excitedly said yes!
Had this workshop been available before my wedding, I would have done my own flowers. You know that there were a handful of DIY projects we did for the wedding and I would have done my own flowers too if only this workshop came earlier. Anyway, still I'm glad I learned a new skill which I'm sure I could use someday.Full house during the 2:30 pm session. There were three sessions throughout the day. |

The workshop was also a good bonding moment for me and my two boys. While I learned how to do corsages and bouquet, the boys enjoyed the nachos provided by Naughty Tacos and healthy hydration provided by Juice Barista.

Ms. Indy Ycasiano taught the the participants how to make wrist corsages and boutonnieres. I couldn't believe how easy it was! I always thought to myself, I am a natural when it comes to arranging flowers.

Lovely Ecuadorian Roses any woman would love to receive from their husband, boyfriend or partners. |
Let me show you how serious and dedicated I was learning how to make wrist corsage and bouquet through photos take by me, my hubby and Light Keeper Studios:
Time to pick flowers for my bouquet! :)
My finished projects:
I was able to make two wrist corsages. I truly appreciated the new skill learned at the School of Styling workshop.

I put my DIY bouquet in a recycled jar at home and used the lace ribbon to give a nice accent to the jar. |

Thank you Em for inviting me to attend this workshop. I'm a sucker for new learning, new acquired skills. School of Styling PH is a great cause for bringing people together to be inspired, be equipped, and learn new things which could later on be used for their betterment. I never thought that something this really pretty, which I thought would be hard to accomplish, could be done easily and quickly. The School of Styling teaches us how we could practically make things beautiful without having to spend a lot, which is the very heart of my blog, practicality. :)
So if you're also interested to learn something new, to make, to create something you could personally use at home and in personal life events, you may check the other workshops lined up for this year:
Their next workshop is set this April 2 at Glorietta 5 Atrium. I would love to attend again but I am on a bed rest for a month. It's all about Tassel Garland and Pinata Making for parties. There are three slots to choose from: 10:30 AM, 2:30 PM and 4:30 PM. Workshop Fee: P 3,500 which includes: All materials for the workshop, Certificate of Attendance, School Of Styling tote bag, professionally taken photos, and light snacks.
