Time flies by so fast and my youngest is now 5!  I can't believe just how smarter, talkative, more creative, and more observant he has become!  It still feels as if I just gave birth to him last month.  Wow!  It's been 5 years since this boy made a huge impact in our family life.  I call him my game-changer.  

He made me breastfeed him exclusively until 4 years of age.  He made me resign from my almost 20 year corporate life.  He made me a teacher momma when we opted to indie homeschool him last year.   Oh my heart!  He's our family's bundle of joy indeed!

Here's how we decorated the house and achieved the theme!

I bought these party foil curtains and foil letter balloons and numbers on Facebook Marketplace.  It's so convenient to just check the available items on the most used app and voila, you get what you need or want.  This was delivered same day COD.
I also bought Cocomelon themed foil balloons such as the JJ giant balloon and round watermelon and character foil balloons. 
And boy, the cupcakes were awesome it had Cocomelon characters as their toppers!  My youngest wanted to eat almost all the characters!  Who wouldn't be joyful seeing these?  These custom cupcakes were also created by Shae of Delishaes Cakes!

Our dearest baby Damien already received the sacrament of baptism last weekend at the Pilgrim Chapel of the National Shrine of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in New Manila Quezon City.

When preparing for your much-awaited wedding, one of the important elements is your wedding invitation.  Many are going digital already but most couples (including us) still want the traditional printed wedding invitations to be sent out to guests.

For our intimate DIY Rustic Wedding, we both had a digital event invite conveniently done via Facebook and a traditional printed invitation.  It all started with the wedding concept.  Think garden, flowers, rustic, DIY projects, and intimate.  I wanted the concept to appear and be felt on the invitations itself.  We wanted to have a hand-lettered and hand-painted invitation.  So I asked help from a very talented colleague, Myra Lim, who is passionate in doing these things.

We started with the Save The Date design which of course had the date of our wedding and our hashtag.  I posted this on our wedding's Facebook event invite:

When I posted a photo on Facebook of my younger son playing with his 100% mommy-made play house, a lot of my friends commented how cute the DIY Playhouse is.  Some were pushed to finally start their pending made-up play house for their kids.  Some of them said they were inspired by my DIY project and want to also make one for their child.  While the Titas and Ninang commented about how cute my little boy is for playing with a usually-girl toy, and having a blast too.
