Would you agree that moms love preparing ahead of time? That's why even if it's still summer, at least in my calendar, almost everyone seems to be busy with back to school stuff.
I admit that just like you, it's one of the seasons I am most excited about because it means shopping for new school supplies for our student children. I have a fascination with smelling new papers, feeling the leaves of crisp notebooks, appreciating perfect edges of fragrant erasers, and testing mechanisms of unused pencil cases. It brings so much joy to me because I am reminded about my childhood whenever I shop at National Book Store with my mom.
National Book Store, it's everyone's book store right? I don't know anyone who didn't grow up with NBS. Good timing for shopping because they are having a Grand Back To School Fair on May 24 - 26, 2019 at Glorietta Activity Center Palm Drive! This then is a perfect time for mommies to shop for their children's school needs.

I'm inviting all of you to come and shop with me at the Grand Back To School Fair this weekend. And while you're shopping, here are some practical shopping tips for you mommies:
PRACTICAL BACK TO SCHOOL SHOPPING TIPS:
PRACTICAL BACK TO SCHOOL SHOPPING TIPS:
1. Scout your children's existing school supplies first. Check if there are still unused art papers, pad papers, and other items that your children could still use in the coming school year. This way you can save your budget for something else, maybe a book your child wants or some of the available accessories too!
2. Bring a shopping checklist. Your checklist will be your guide to your needs and wants. It will also help you save time and energy. If you know what you need to buy, go straight to that area and pick the items you need. Your checklist will help you not overspend. On preparing lists, best to group your list for easier shopping reference (all paper needs, all coloring needs, all writing needs, all books, and so on) so when you go to NBS to shop, you go straight to the section where you could find the items on your list in one go. This saves time. Gladly, National Book Store has a Back To School Zone where you could check because it's complete and has wide array of brand choices. In case you left or forgot to prepare a checklist, NBS has a complete back to school checklists in all their branches for Gradeschool, High School, and College.
3. Shop early. I usually shop early to avoid long queues, preferably in the morning. When you're early, this gives you a pleasurable time to go around National Book Store to see what other great finds you could score, after you're done shopping with the essentials. Shopping early means lesser incidents of out-of-stocks, no rush, no stress, and no pressure.
4. Set a budget and stick to it. Moms love budgeting and I am sure you've got the back to school shopping covered. One way to help you stick to your budget is to compare prices. But remember not all lesser priced items should be considered. Check its quality as well. I highly recommend Best Buy items and their Grab & Go packs, same quality at lower price.and bundles, you'll be surprised how much you could save! One way to maximize your budget is to check out their promos such as bundled items and even Buy 1 Take 1.
5. Shop in one book store. I'm happy that National Book Store is complete, everything you may need for your children are there. They have so many available brands for different items in varying price points. This is a win for all shoppers with different budgets and needs. Shopping in just one place is very convenient, saves you time, effort, energy, and money too!
