Be Hello loves!  I just want to share with you that I commute to work everyday.   Having said that, one rarely sees me wearing skirts or dresses in the office.   The only time I get to dress is when I perform in band gigs.   Yup that's true!   Shy kasi ako sometimes to look so girly and call attention in the office.   Plus,  it's so hard to commute and be conscious at the same time about the hems of my skirt while walking or sitting.

For the past weekends of April to July, I've been wearing cocktail dresses for our performances in Luxent Hotel in Quezon City.   Sometimes feeling celebrity lang because I cannot repeat dresses so lately I have been scouting and scoring quality dresses on sale!  Alam niyo naman muthers, ayoko naman mapunta ang talent fee ko para lang pambili ng damit.  So ang requirement ko to purchase a dress ay dapat sale siya. :-) Unless may mag-sponsor diba?

I've been getting my dresses lately from People Are People.  The dresses I buy are on their sale rack and here's one of the 3 dresses I already bought.  Which by the way, hubby said is too short, with matching kunot na noo and salubong na kilay.

Have you ever bought something, like a piece of clothing that you know the moment you fit it, it's meant for you?  How about, knowing that particular dress came with an unbelievable tag price, worth less than Php500.00 but looks worth more than a thousand pesos?

I know that very EXACT feeling!  Since I've been singing regularly in a hotel lounge, looking good is a requirement, at least with the clothes I wear.  Lately, I've been scouting for sales in the metro because I don't feel comfortable buying an expensive outfit which I will get to wear only once (in my performance days).  Plus I don't like the feeling that all my talent fee will just go for shopping.

Being the practical shopper that I am, I knew I scored 10 on this pretty green long sheer dress!  You wouldn't believe that it costs ONLY Php 399.00.  I bought the winner dress at SMX during their 3rd edition of "The Great Luxe SALE" last weekend.

Hello loves! How was your week so far? Mine has been hectic at work as usual. This day is even not far from over. I'm actually on the road (yup! Blogging from my mobile phone) right now, rushing to our gig tonight at Luxent Hotel in QC. So if you're around the area, hope you could drop by.

Hello loves!  It's been a while since I last updated my blog.  I have been very busy with work and the kids (enrolled my elder to his Summer Sports Basketball Clinic in school and toilet trained my toddler) plus I was down for three days with flu.  Then I had to prepare for a gig last Friday at Luxent Hotel in Timog, Quezon City.  My acoustic band, Euphony, will be performing there every Fridays of April.  So I am inviting you to come there for good food and of course relaxing music! Naks plugging! :)

Hello Loves!  Here's a late OOTD post.  I had a presentation of our partnership proposal with Manila Ocean Park and I had to wear smart casual to look presentable and credible (naman!)  I didn't expect that we were going to tour their newly opened "Birds Of Prey" attraction and ride a "Kalesa" around the polluted Manila.

We had fun experiencing the hawks, "Lawin" at their new attraction, you should never miss the feeding part!  It was an exciting experience!  We enjoyed the "Kalesa" ride but it made us realize how polluted Manila is already.  Go to Manila Ocean Park with the family!  Tip, (1) go there early in the day to avoid the flood of people visiting all their wonderful attractions (2) Do NOT wear any HIGH-heeled shoes!

How's your week so far loves?  Mine has been pretty hectic and erratic!  I had a lot going on at work.  I've been integrating communication plans here and there, presenting partnership proposals and doing all administrative stuff on the side.

At home, my 9yo and hubby had been cracking up jokes about me gaining weight and having extra flab specifically on the tummy area.  Grabe!  They were really Rolling On The Floor Laughing Out Loud!  Sample jokes:

Hubby: " What did the doctor say to Mommy when he saw her?"
D:"What?"
Hubby: "Are you pregnant?"

Hello Loves!  It's 3:20am in the morning and I'm here blogging away.  I came home early from work last night to have a dinner bonding with my kids at their forever favorite, Jollibee.  I took home work actually because there's a presentation and a communication plan due for submission later!  Wish me extra super luck because, the work I took home, didn't happen.  I woke up just a little awhile ago, and see, instead of working on those decks, I'm blogging.

Major Fail.

Hello loves!  I am just too excited to share with you one of the greatest achievements I've had so far in blogging.  When I was starting my stint as a serious blogger, I registered my website to Top Blogs Philippines under the Home and Living Category.  Back then (some 6 months ago) I was ranked 200+ but I didn't mind because I was just starting.

I just kept on writing, self-studying about SEOs, blog hopping, admiring and learning from my Mommy/Lifestyle Blogger Inspirations, kept on improving and just wished someday I will be ranked among Philippine's Top 20 Home and Living Blogs.

I had the time of my blogging career when last Sunday, February 17, at exactly 7 months and 16 days into blogging, while writing a post about Valentine's Day, I checked Top Blogs Home and Living category and saw this:


Shivers to the spines kind of feeling because I was ranked close to my Blogger Inspirations.  My admiration list now includes Mommy Fleur, Mrs Martinez Raves And Rants, and Animetric's World apart from those mentioned in my previous Mommy/Lifestyle Blogger Inspirations post.

So what now?  Just the same, I'll humbly continue this journey I've chosen to take, to help fellow moms with their needs.  I will continue to give relevant information and content that a practical parent may be looking for.  May I someday, be a source of inspiration to others too.  I would love the opportunity to help our online mommy community in any way I can.

Hello! I am so excited about the upcoming Valentine's Day!  Are you too?  For one, it's one of the most memorable seasons each year.  Two, it's the time of the year again when I will get to see bouquets of flowers lined up in flower shops waiting for it to be delivered to its rightful owner make her go "aaaawww!"

Hence, for this practical fashion post, my outfit was inspired by those flowers in full bloom and also by the upcoming Panagbenga in Bagiuo City as well!

How is everyone doing?  Welcome to another post on my Practical Fashion segment.  I entitled this such because one, all I see is yellow and second, I look like a teacher (the comment I get most from my colleagues).  So without further ado, here's the outfit of the (other) day.

I've been asked by a lot to do a live demo on how to create the "Ms. Universe" hair bun.  Some call it the "Donya" bun as well.  My colleagues tease me (as the matapobreng Angelica Santibañez) whenever I would come to the office with the latest hairdo I am sporting, asking me "Asan si Facundo? Inutusan mo na naman ba?" (Where is Facundo? Did give him errands to do again?)

For the many times that I have been to Cebu City, the recent Sinulog Festival was my first.  I looked forward to the celebration and experience first-hand what everybody was buzzing about the Sinulog Festival.  Since it was work (with a little pleasure on the side) trip, I brought a mix of work and casual clothes.

Since I don't want to sound too formal on my personal space, I would like to share with you the casual outfits I wore while braving the sea of crowd during the parade and while roaming around the nearest tourist spot in the little off-work time we had.
